Q: Is this whole entire album COMPLETELY FREE?
A: YES. Kid Pistol and Coo Breeze spent a significant amount of time, effort and finances on this 8 track EP, making sure that it was recorded, mixed and mastered professionally. So what you get is a new album that you'll find yourself singing and knowing all the lyrics to and playing on repeat, and for FREE.

Q: Why are you giving such a good album away for free?
A: A few reasons. This project was not made to profit from Adele's music - quite the opposite, in fact. This album pays homage to a great artist that we personally feel cannot receive enough recognition for her beautiful voice. On the flip side, Kid Pistol and Coo Breeze work flawlessly together on this album to compliment, not destroy, Adele's music while showcasing their own talents. We want to expose all three of these artists to the light they deserve.

Q: For the most part, people will hopefully know Adele, but who is Kid Pistol? And Coo Breeze?
A: Kid Pistol is a producer from Portland, Oregon who composes hip-hop instrumentals, usually with a highly cinematic and epic feel and obvious attention to detail. Coo Breeze is a rap artist based from the Seattle, Washington area. His highly distinctive, "commanding" voice and often witty and humorous lines define him.

Q: When is this album being released?

"The new groundbreaking EP “Adele’s Breeze” with production by aspiring and promising beat smith Kid Pistol, with lyrics by rapper Coo Breeze is emerging from the Northwest hip hop scene. The eight track EP features beats remixed from the popular UK artist Adele’s debut album “19”. Kid Pistol lends a seamless dexterity to the challenge of turning an already reputable song to something recognizable, and yet distinctly unique. With a combination of vocal samplings, as well as beat mixing, Kid Pistol’s execution brought to life a new facet of his production ability, along with revamping perceptions of Adele’s music. It takes an ambitious artist to turn a soulful melodic sound to something street savvy and listener friendly, while not losing the touching element of a singer-songwriter, and Kid Pistol did so beautifully. Breeze blends the concepts of the two artists together with lyrics relating to Adele’s original song, but with a fiery hip hop flow, quick wit and cocky humor, and still maintains and fits with the emotional properties suggested by more heartfelt tracks. The EP varies in sound from club bangers and party tracks, to bass heavy, hardcore hip hop beats, to a melodic rhyme style portraying the depth of both individuals involved.
This is Kid Pistol’s first full length release, while Coo Breeze has dappled with a few local releases previous to this. The album will be released for free download in mid November, and already the anticipation is soaring through word of mouth and through the reputation both artists have built locally. Do you love Adele's music?

This blog was created for anyone and everyone who enjoys listening to Adele's music. I'm a full-time producer by the name of Kid Pistol. Over a year and a half ago (maybe more, it's been so long now!), rapper Coo Breeze and I embarked on a mission to complete a hip-hop fused album inspired from Adele's music. Months ago, we finally recorded the last of the songs to complete the album. Artwork, check. I'm now in promo mode for the album and am gearing up for the November 17th release and FREE download. Anyone who has heard Adele's music and fell in love with it the way that I did needs to download this album.
